Are you looking to plan a vacation for a family member or friend at a specific property for exact dates, and it’s showing an availability NOW?

The Guest Certificate program gives you the resource of IMMEDIACY in a case like this. Normally we would suggest purchasing a Resort Vacation Certificate (RVC), but the RVC requires flexibility in travel plans. Since AFVC is a "Space Available" program provided on a first-come, first-serve basis, a high-demand location may be gone by the time you purchase a RVC, and have the recipient call back to book the reservation. With this option, the AFVC member can book the reservation using his/her account number in the name of the traveler to secure the property for the discounted price of $329* per unit for a 7-night stay. This option is available only through the AFVC on-line reservation process. To use the on-line reservation system you must first have a valid AFVC Account Number (7033-xxxx), then register on-line. To register, go to Search for Availability, click "Log-in" on the top of the page, then select "First-Time Here". When making a reservation on-line for a guest, you MUST identify the traveler PRIOR to completing the reservation. Once a reservation is made in your name, it can only be transferred by calling the Reservation Center and paying the $59.00 fee.

If you reserve a unit telephonically via the Reservation Center and transfer the reservation to another name, the transfer cost will be $59.00.

Or, did you book a vacation with family and friends, and now you’re not able to travel?

Rather than cancel everyone's vacation, the Guest Certificate allows you to transfer the reservation to someone else so your friends and family may still enjoy the vacation. Cancellation fees could run as high as 30% of the total rental fee if more than 60 days from your travel date. Instead, for just $59.00, you can purchase a Guest Certificate transferring your reservation into the name of a non-AFVC member going on the vacation, allowing your friends and family to still enjoy their holiday at a reduced rate. This option must be done through the Reservation Center.

Guest Certificates are valid for the same inventory as other AFVC confirmations and are subject to the same availability restrictions. Installation MWR offices will receive the same commission on Guest Certificates as any other AFVC confirmations.

Reservations made through the AFVC cannot be re-sold commercially.

If a reservation made on a Guest Certificate is later cancelled, normal cancellation fees apply to the reservation fee. The $59.00 Guest Certificate fee is not refundable.

Guest Certificate recipients must be at least 21 years old.
