For year-round outdoor sports and gorgeous scenery, try the Crafts Inn, which was designed in 1898 by Stanford White and is now registered as a National Historic Landmark. The Crafts Inn provides an indoor pool, racquetball court, and saunas. The Mount Snow ski area is within 6 miles. In addition to the average annual snowfall of 15 feet, snowmaking ensures plenty of snow from mid-November to early May. In summer, enjoy swimming and boating on 14-mile-long Lake Whitingham, as well as playing tennis, golfing, and horseback riding.

The nearest major airports are in Albany, New York, about 65 miles away and Hartford, Connecticut, about 100 miles away. From Albany airport: Take I-87 North to NY 7 East which becomes VT 9 at the state line. Continue east to Wilmington. Resort is on your right. From Hartford airport: Take I-91 north to Vermont and take Exit 2 at Brattleboro (Rt 9). Go west on Route 9 to Wilmington and follow the signs to the resort. The resort is located 100 yards from the junction of Routes 9 West and 100 North. Parking is behind the resort.
