There are seven different unit types at La Vista Resort; Junior Suites, Deluxe Suites, Penthouse Suites, Cottages, 1-Bedroom Deluxe Suites, 1-Bedroom Penthouse Suites, and Sleep-4 Deluxe Suites. All rooms at La Vista Resort have a full or partial view of the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, and have their own private balconies. All rooms also feature a kitchenette with a two burner stove and basic appliances, a living room, a safe, and a dining area. Most rooms offer a pullout couch, and all rooms sleep between 2 to 4 persons. Each suite features similar décor sticking to a blue and green color scheme along with Caribbean inspired prints and fabrics that add to the Caribbean feel of the resort. No matter which unit-type you chose to enjoy, you will be getting the authentic La Vista Resort experience. Princess Juliana International - SXM (3 Miles)
The nearest airport is the Princess Julianna International Airport which is 2 miles away. Take the first right out of the airport and follow the road, you will see a sign directing you to the La Vista. Drive through the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina which is on a public road, and over a hill.

In preparation for your upcoming trip check for any vaccine and/or testing requirements, travel restrictions, policies, or mandates related to Covid-19 to and from your destination. Resources available online include, but are not limited to, government, airline, and your host resort’s website.
RCI and its related entities shall not have any liability related to individual resorts’ on-site COVID-19 testing (or absence of on-site COVID-19 testing).
Other tests such as antibody tests or antigen tests and tests performed outside of this 120 hours period will not be accepted
ALL OF THE PENTHOUSE UNITS HAVE SPIRAL STAIRCASES. Resort will request a credit card at the time of check in and a $100.00 hold will be put on the card for incidentals. Resort no longer accepts American Express cards. Units 14 through 19 are Pentihouses and have spiral staircases that require climbing stairs and not suitable for the elderly or handicap.
A rt-PCR test for COVID19 is required for all travelers originating from a country that is categorized as high or moderate risk, performed within 120 hours prior to departure to St. Maarten. Visitors are encouraged to complete a mandatory application through St. Marteen’s Electronic Health Authorization System (EHAS) as soon as they have received their rt-PCR test result.
Passengers entering the island MUST fill out the entry form available at stmaartenentry.com. It is also mandatory to present a negative COVID-19 test result dating back no more than 72 hours prior to arrival (even if in transit to another destination). The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch from Tuesday to Sunday (Mondays are closed), and Sunday is only open for breakfast.
