Welcome! We invite you to explore this page to learn more about Armed Forces Vacation Club including who is eligible, what your membership benefits include, and most importantly - how to start searching for your perfect vacation today! Let's get started...
Armed Forces Vacation Club is built around the idea that our military deserve the best, and that's why we offer weeklong resort stays from just $359*. That price might sound unbelievable, but search our R&R page for resorts and see for yourself! We offer over 200,000 resort accommodations in over 100 countries in a wide range of unit sizes from studio to two or even three bedroom. Vacation rentals are priced per unit not per person, and typically sleep 2-8.
A membership with Armed Forces Vacation Club is free to all current, veterans, and retired members of the United States military, National Guard, Reserves (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard); including Gold Star families and Civilian employees of the DoD (appropriated, non-appropriated, or retired), Association of the US Army (AUSA) members and the immediate families of all the above (spouses, parents, and/or children).
You can search by Destination if you have a certain location in mind, by Travel Dates if you’d like to get away during a specific date range, or by Price Type if you have a particular budget in mind. Once you have started your search, you have the option to use a multitude of additional filters to help narrow down your results until you’ve found the vacation that best fits your needs.
We know that a lot of thought and effort goes in to planning the perfect trip, so we've created a resource center to help you along the way! In addition to providing inspiration on where to vacation, the resource center provides tips on planning the best Beach Vacation, how to Travel on a Budget, making the most of your PCS Move and more.
R&R, formerly known as Space Available, is excess inventory that is set at a special price of $359.00* USD per week. R&R is comprised of inventory that is unlikely to be used due to a high supply or low demand, or both. So rather than potentially let this excess inventory go unused, we provide it at an attractive discount to those who have or are currently protecting our country.
High-Demand represents a broader range of resort availability, including holidays, larger units and more sought-after destinations.
Short Stays, where available, are short stays (usually less than 7 nights).
Resort Vacation Certificates (RVCs) are travel certificates, which are redeemable for a 7-night stay at one of our affiliated resorts. RVC inventory is designed to be used for off-peak/offseason travel, although accommodations may be available throughout the year. Peak seasons can vary according to destination.
If you cannot find a vacation rental at your desired location and date, then it is likely unavailable at the time of the search. However, as the website is updated throughout the day, please check back to see if your desired date and location becomes available. We also invite you to set up a My Vacation Watcher search, and our handy tool will search for your specific location and date and notify you when it becomes available. Click here to learn more.

We now have a Resort Directory, where you can simply type in the four digit number ID and we will take you directly to the resort detail page. Visit the Resort Directory here.
While R&R or High Demand vacations are comprised of one-week, seven-night increments, you don't have to stay seven nights. You can choose to check in a few days late or check out a few days early, depending on your preference. Simply contact the resort ahead of time to make the proper arrangements. At $359* USD per week, if you choose to stay only 4, 5, or 6 nights it can still be considered a fantastic deal!
In the event you require any special needs during your reservation, please contact us at 1-800-724-9988 prior to booking. We will contact resorts in your preferred destination and identify any resorts which can accommodate you.
Yes. As long as you are an eligible Armed Forces Vacation Club member, at least 21 years of age, and the reservation is in your name, your companions may accompany you provided that you do not exceed the maximum occupancy allowed for your reservation. Depending upon the resort, you may even be permitted to book multiple units at the same time and location so long as you are also traveling.

Yes, we do. To see a list of all-inclusive resorts click here.
Units may become available anywhere from 3 to 360 days in advance of the scheduled check-in date. As soon as they become available, they can be reserved. Once a reservation is made, the unit is removed from the available inventory pool and that unit is reserved for your use. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so a location may be available in the morning, but gone by afternoon. If all available units have been reserved, please contact a Vacation Guide who will assist you with finding an alternative location or available date.
