The resort has an on-site outdoor pool for when you prefer to lounge poolside instead of on the beach. The on-site boat dock also provides fishing opportunities. A grocery store is just a five minute drive away and there is a convenience store nearby. On-site laundry facilities are also provided.

Puente Vista has two- and three-bedroom units that sleep 6 to 8 guests accordingly. The simply appointed, air-conditioned units are carpeted and include a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, and telephone service.

The nearest commercial airport is the Corpus Christi Int'l Airport 25 miles away. From the airport, take Hwy 44 East. Follow Hwy 358 (South Padre Island Dr a.k.a. S.P.I.D.). Follow Padre Island signs through Flour Bluff. S.P.I.D becomes Park Rd 22 across the Intracoastal Waterway. Turn right at the 1st convenience store (Aquarius St), then right on Seahorse St (the third street) to the Puente Vista complex. Seahorse dead ends at Aloha. Turn left and go to the side door entrance of the garage to unit 125 to check in. RCI guests must check in FRIDAY between 4pm and 8pm. For all other check-in times, please call 361/949-7006.
