The Maverick resort is located in a quiet, family-oriented part of the Daytona Beach area. In addition, there are shuffleboard courts, gas grills for your convenience, and a low-cost amenities package that includes boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. Fishing, boating, golf, and tennis are all nearby. On-site activities include orientation sessions complete with coffee and donuts, jewelry-making classes, and Bingo. The Maverick's helpful activities director will gladly help you arrange anything from dinner cruises to tee times.

The Maverick's spacious, air conditioned studios and one-bedroom apartments all feature views of the beach and ocean from a private balcony. Varying units can accommodate 4 to 6 people. The kitchens include a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all cookware. The units also feature telephone, television, queen size beds and full size sofa beds.

Daytona Beach Airport is approximately 10 miles away. From the airport, take U.S. 92 east to A1A (Atlantic Avenue); then go north on A1A 7 miles to the resort.
