From Johannesburg International Airport, travel on the R21 Witbank highway, it is the first turnoff at the exit of the airport. This highway joins the N4 towards Witbank/ Middelberg. The highway ends after Middelberg. Take the road into Belfast, R540, travel through Dullstroom and towards Lydenberg. Take the R36 in Lydenberg towards Pilgrims Rest /Ohrigstad. 30km outside of Lydenberg turn right at the sign for Pilgrims Rest. Travel approximately 14km, turn right at the Mount Sheba turnoff and travel 10km along a dirt road with a poor surface.
