Protected Samango monkeys are also found here. For the energetic there is a 10km guided walk from Mount Sheba to Pilgrim's Rest once a week (weather permitting) with the option of a gold panning excursion.

Airport Location
Nelspruit - NLP (71 Miles)
From Johannesburg International Airport, travel on the R21 Witbank highway, it is the first turnoff at the exit of the airport. This highway joins the N4 towards Witbank/ Middelberg. The highway ends after Middelberg. Take the road into Belfast, R540, travel through Dullstroom and towards Lydenberg. Take the R36 in Lydenberg towards Pilgrims Rest /Ohrigstad. 30km outside of Lydenberg turn right at the sign for Pilgrims Rest. Travel approximately 14km, turn right at the Mount Sheba turnoff and travel 10km along a dirt road with a poor surface.
