BY AIR: Nearest airport: Newcastle 72KM or Edinburgh 113KM BY ROAD: (From the South) Travel to Newcastle upon Tyne and stay on the A1 North for approximately 15 miles until you reach the signs for Morpeth. Head for the slip road onto the A697 and follow the signs for Coldstream. Carry on for 29 miles to Wooler, staying on the A697 and heading towards Coldstream. After 2.4miles you will reach Akeld Manor, passing four very tall flagpoles on the left hand side. Turn left at the next junction and go through the second gate, past the telephone box on the right hand side.

babies/infants under the age of 2 are not part of the head count, children who are 2 years of age and upwards are part of the head count. Any guest who does arrive with over occupancy will be asked to pay for an additional cottage to accommodate the party or unfortunately will be asked to leave. Please be aware - leisure centre and pool opening hours vary and times will be advised on check in.
Alternatively guests can contact Akeld Head Office on 01665 721 035 during office hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm, however, for the benefit of those who arrive late on site, there is a clear notice on the reception office door advising the guest to contact the managers on call on that day for clear instructions for access into their cottage.
Prior to guests arrival, all properties have been fully inspected. Resort asks all guests upon arrival to thoroughly check the property, any dissatisfaction or noted damage or malfunction should be reported and discussed with the complex management immediately
