Shipyard Plantation on Hilton Head Island is an eight hundred acre gated resort along the Forest Beach area. Beautiful landscaped grounds envelope its fresh water lagoon system, which is home to ten pound large mouth bass and numerous reptiles. The Shipyard Golf Club has 27 championship caliber golf holes and a tremendous practice facility. There are on-site swimming pools and tennis courts, and you will have your own beach access. Rent a bike to enjoy the miles of paths throughout Shipyard Plantation and the island, or at least walk the paved trails throughout the resort's property.

The nearest commercial airport is on Hilton Head Island. The nearest major airport is in Savannah, GA, 45 miles away. From the airport take I-95 North to exit 8 (Hwy 278). When you approach the sign for Cross Island Parkway, move into the right lane (Sign - W. Hilton Parkway, 278 East, Business). After passing Mile Marker #10, go 6/10ths of a mile and turn right into 1012 William Hilton Pkwy Business Park. Drive to the back of the parking lot to the office complex. The checkin office is in Suite #4A. Island Management, Inc, is posted above the door. The telephone number is 843/842-2201 X223.
