From San Diego airport (42 miles) take Harbor Drive and follow the signs for 'Downtown.' At Grape Street, turn left and follow the signs for I-5 South. Exit at the Escondido/163 Freeway North. 163 North becomes I-15 North. Stay on I-15 North about 20 miles, past Escondido. Exit at Deer Springs/Mountain Meadow Rd. Turn right at the exit ramp stop light. Immediately turn left at the next stop sign onto Champagne Blvd. Welk Resort Center is about 3 miles north, on the right. From Los Angeles airport (112 miles) take I-405 South to I-5 South, to Highway 78 East, to I-15 North. Follow directions above from I-15 North.
