The resort, located in Historic Downtown is adjacent to the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and within walking distance of downtown shopping and dozens of restaurants. Local seasonal activities include hiking, fishing, white-water rafting, Jeep tours, and mountain biking. Nearby Durango Mountain ski area offers forty miles of groomed terrain and 75 trails, for skiing. Snowboarding and snowmobiling are nearby as well. A car is recommended.

Housekeeping Fees
- Housekeeping fee for all RCI Points reservations: There may be a fee of 111.00 U.S. dollars for 1 Bedroom units, weekly. Only Credit Cards accepted. Fee is for less than 7 nights. Current rate $105 till end of year. New rate effective January 2025.

- Occupancy limits are strictly enforced: Violations could result in forfeiture of the unit and/or other penalties.
- Office hours are 8am to 9pm daily, and check-in is at the main lobby beginning at 4pm. After 9pm, call on the beige courtesy phone in the foyer. Check-out is at 10am, and a fee is charged for a late check-out.
- Pets are not allowed, and violators are charged an extra cleaning fee.
- Prior to travel, RCI recommends contacting your host resort as well as local, state and federal websites for advisories that may impact your travel or vacation experience.
- Resort cannot honor unit upgrades or moves.
- Security deposit required upon check-in at the resort.
