BY AIR: Nearest Airport: Manchester 53 miles. BY ROAD: Exit the airport onto the M56 in the direction M6. Leave at junction 10 onto the A49. After 19 miles take the 2nd exit off the roundabout onto the A41. After 0.8miles take 3rd exit off the roundabout following signs for A525 (Wrexham Road). Bear left into New Hill Lane and continue on A495. After 11 miles you will enter Ellesmere. Just after the petrol station, turn left into Watergate Street (signposted Marina). Follow signs for Marina bearing left into Birch Road. Continue for approx 0.4 miles, entrance on left hand side. Reception located in the Chandlery.BY RAIL:nearest Train Station is Gobowan 7 miles from Marina.

Party must consist of 2 active adults, both over the age of 21, no exceptions. Cruising is subject to compulsory training only available on check-in days. Knowledge of English is required. You must watch the Canal & River Trust DVD, either online on http://www.video-server.co.uk/boaters-video.php or the resort can post the DVD to you upon request. All guests must check in at 2pm.
Damage waiver EXCLUSIONS: damage from speeding, contact with a lock cill causing damage to the rudder, skeg, stern gear, or boat, negligence, and malicious or intentional damage to the boat. Also excluded are malicious or intentional damage to other boats and property, the late return of the boat, and the return of the boat in unclean condition.
Check-in is 2-5 pm in summer months, and 2-4 pm in winter months. Outside of normal check-in hours and days, arrangements must be made in advance directly with the marina. There may be restrictions on alternate check-in times and you may be charged up to £50 if it is possible. Cruising is not always possible due to planned maintenance stoppages, and closures due to poor weather conditions.
