Punta Cana is the nearest airport - 15 miles away. Or, from La Romana International Airport, it is a 45 mile taxi ride to Punta Cana, Melia Hotels. Ask only for Sol Melia Caribe Tropical. Please notify the resort if a late arrival is anticipated. In order to expedite your check-in please ask your taxi driver to leave you at the Caribe Lobby. Look for the Members' VIP Lounge to the left after passing the Front Desk.
