The quaint all-season town of Canmore, Alberta (pop. 16,000) has big city expectations. Once a coal mining town, Canmore gained notoriety during the 1988 Winter Olympics and has been a booming recreational hotspot ever since. Just 70 miles from Calgary, Canmore is nestled in Alberta's Bow Valley, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. It is a perfect location for fishing, climbing, canoeing, and numerous winter sports. Banff National Park is 7.5 miles from the resort and Lake Louise is about an hour away. Canmore has quilters, stained-glass artists, blacksmiths, and galleries. The resort's outdoor pool is heated and open all year.

WorldMark Canmore-Banff offers air-conditioned units, with a TV, telephone, and CD player. Each unit has a microwave/convection oven, a four-burner cooktop, a full-sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a coffee maker. Units do not have standard ovens. Laundry facilities are available on-site, but not in the units. Studio units sleep two with one queen bed and one bath. One-bedroom units sleep up to 4 guests with a queen bed, a sleep sofa, and one bath. Two-bedroom units sleep 4-6 guests with a king bed, a queen bed, a sleep sofa, and two baths.
