Airport; Birmingham 30 minutes in taxi. Car; from the m42 take the a441 towards Birmingham. At the roundabout turn left, continue to the next roundabout and follow signs forAlvechurch passing under the motorway to entre Alvechurch village. Follow the road through the village until you come to a pedestrian crossing controlled by traffic lights. Immediately after the crossing turn right into Bear Hill. Follow the road up the hill until you leave the village, as you pass the railway bridge followed closely by a canal bridge. The marina entrance is then on your left about 200 meters beyond the canal bridge

Party must consist of 2 active adults, both over the age of 21. Cruising is subject to compulsory training only available on check-in days. A good knowledge of English is required. You must watch the Canal & River Trust DVD, either online on http://www.video-server.co.uk/boaters-video.php or the resort can post the DVD to you upon request. Guests must check in at 2pm.

Damage waiver EXCLUSIONS: damage from speeding, contact with a lock cill causing damage to the rudder, skeg, stern gear, or boat, negligence, and malicious or intentional damage to the boat. Also excluded are malicious or intentional damage to other boats and property, the late return of the boat, and the return of the boat in unclean condition.
Check-in is 2-5 pm in summer months, and 2-4 pm in winter months. Outside of normal check-in hours and days, arrangements must be made in advance directly with the marina. There may be restrictions on alternate check-in times and you may be charged up to £50 if it is possible. Cruising is not always possible due to planned maintenance stoppages, and closures due to poor weather conditions.
