Airport Location

Faa'a International Airport - PPT (120 Miles)

All visitors to the Society Islands must pass through Faa'a International Airport in Papeete. The airport code is PPT and the island is well served from Los Angeles, less than 8 hours away. Air Tahiti Nui, the Tahiti-based international carrier, has daily flights from Los Angeles, and from JFK on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Other international airlines providing services include Air France, Hawaiian Airlines, Air New Zealand, Qantas Airways Limited, Lan Chile, and Air Caledonia International. Raiatea island, our embarkation point, is approximately 120 miles from Tahiti and the local domestic airline, Air Tahiti, operates a number of flights daily between the islands. Once in Raiatea, our base located at Tahiti Yacht Charters base at Apooiti Marina is only a 5-minute drive away.

Adult all inclusive mandatory, must be 21. TradeWinds will contact you within 2 weeks with additional information. Mandatory All-Inclusive fee must be paid Six (6) weeks before charter.

You cannot book multiple cabins or book consecutive weeks. Tradewinds allows RCI Members to book their locations only once every four years. If you traveled during the last four years to any Tradewinds locations, the reservation will be canceled.

To view the All-Inclusive fees you will be responsible for paying to the resort upon check in or prior to check in please review your confirmation letter. All-Inclusive fees are calculated based on the travelers information provided at time of confirmation.

Multiple or consecutive weeks confirmations not allowed.

RCI and its related entities shall not have any liability related to individual resorts’ on-site COVID-19 testing (or absence of on-site COVID-19 testing).

In preparation for your upcoming trip check for any vaccine and/or testing requirements, travel restrictions, policies, or mandates related to Covid-19 to and from your destination. Resources available online include, but are not limited to, government, airline, and your host resort’s website.

Mandatory All-Inclusive means that you must participate in all-inclusive and are required to pay the associated fees. You'll pay a base price when you book with Armed Forces Vacation Club and additional fees will be due directly to the resort at or before check-in. The additional fees are detailed on each resort's page as well as during the booking process.

7 Nights Program All Inclusive Mandatory. For security the development does not allow children under 21! A minimum stay of 7 nights is required. The program includes all meals except 2 ashore dinners. All drinks consumed on board and all water sports equipment are available on board ships (except water ski and diving equipment). Fees are payable directly to the resort unless otherwise stated. All fees are based on the guest information provided at the time of booking, including but not limited to the number of guests traveling. Please verify that the All-Inclusive fee is correct on your confirmation based on the information provided at the time of booking. Any change to traveler information may result in a difference in fee amount and is the responsibility of the guest traveling.
