Overview
Once you pass the larger-than-life bucking bronco statues at the Bison Ranch Resort's entrance, you'll know you're in for some good, old-fashioned "Wild West" fun. With 160 pristine acres of high desert and surrounding forest, this beautiful retreat truly captures the essence of the Western lifestyle. The property features an outdoor pool and spa, children's pool, fitness center, tennis court, playground, game room, and fully stocked, catch-and-release pond. Throughout the property, you'll encounter Western art, wagons, teepees, cowboys, and, of course, a herd of bison! At the heart of the resort, Bison Town replicates the "Wild West" of the 1890s, complete with wood-planked sidewalks, Old West building facades, shops, a coffee house, a saloon, a restaurant, and an ice cream shop. This pedestrian "downtown" area serves as a gathering place for entertainment and special events. Visitors can also easily enjoy the shops and restaurants of The Rim's nearby towns.

Resort Fees
- Mandatory security deposit fee is 250.00 U.S. dollars . Only Credit Cards accepted. This is an incidental hold deposit and not a fee.
Housekeeping Fees
- Housekeeping fee for all RCI reservations: There may be a fee of 111.00 U.S. dollars for all units, per stay. Only Credit Cards accepted. The mandatory fee will be charged for less than 7 night stays.

- Some units have stairs, and no elevator is available. The average temperature from November to March is 32 degrees at night and 50 degrees during the day. The pool is closed from November 1st to April 1st, and horseback riding is seasonal.
- The resort is approximately 3 hours away from Phoenix.
- The resort is located at an elevation of 6,600 feet, and snow chains are recommended during winter. Units are assigned upon arrival, and the resort does not allow smoking in the units, but smoking is permitted outside.
