Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach is the ideal destination for everyone. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a couple’s getaway, or need a spring break, there are a variety of things to do. The opportunities to be outdoors are endless – from enjoying white sand beaches, to dolphin tours, or visiting the Gulf World Marine Park. Families can have fun together on and off the beach at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Odditorium, or the Shipwreck Island Waterpark.

May through October is the best time for families and couples to visit to avoid both the spring break crowds and the very hot, humid weather. Temperatures during this time average in the mid-80s and most things are still open for tourist season, including shuttle trips to Shell Island. Some attractions like Shell Island are closed in the winter months. Keep in mind that if you plan to go fishing independently, you will need to acquire a fishing license to do so.

Seafood lovers will thrive in the Panama City Beach dining scene. You can count on having some of the freshest, most delicious grouper, oysters, and shrimp you’ve ever had! The area has seafood markets that double as restaurants where your fresh-caught meal will be seasoned right before your eyes. There are plenty of more formal, non-seafood options that will have something for even the pickiest of eaters.
