Other Information

  • All 4 swimming pools at Club Paihia will be temporarily closed from 12 October 2026 to 26 November 2026 while essential remedial work and repainting of the pool surfaces is carried out.
  • As the units are built on a hill there are many steep inclines. Therefore, this resort is not deemed suitable for disabled guests.
  • Fitness center will be closed from July 1, 2026 to September 31, 2026.
  • Gym and Boat Park is closed for the duration of the admin building works-no boats are permitted on site during this period.
  • Hot tub/Pool will be closed from February 6, 2026 to July 31, 2026.
  • If arriving after 5 pm, please contact the resort in advance by phone at 09-402-8311 or email Club.paihia@classicholidays.co.nz for the lockbox code.
  • Leisure facilities will be closed from February 6, 2026 to September 13, 2026.
  • Please note if confirming a studio unit at resort there are two very steep flights of stairs for guests to navigate and are not suitable for the elderly or people with mobility problems.
  • Pool will be closed from February 6, 2026 to September 13, 2026.
  • Pool will be closed from October 12, 2026 to November 26, 2026.
  • Reception will remain open throughout the admin building works. However, several recreational facilities within or adjacent to the building will be fully or partially closed at various times.
  • Recreation center will be closed from July 1, 2026 to September 31, 2026.
  • Rockpool and Smaller Heated Pool will be closed until early July, whilst the larger heated pool and the unheated pool will remain open most of the time.
  • Sauna will be closed from July 1, 2026 to September 31, 2026.
  • Swimming pools will be partially closed for a period, and at times it will be necessary to close all.
  • The Boat Park will be closed, with no boat storage available on-site during this period.
  • The gym and sauna are closed due to extensive work at the resort's admin building. Pools are open, although brief closures may occasionally be required.
  • This resort does not offer daily maid service.
  • Work involves extensive works,replacement of roofing and wall cladding. Building work begins at 8am.
