BY AIR: Nearest airport: Manchester 120 miles. BY ROAD: From airport follow signs to M6 north continue along M6 to junction 36, follow A590 and shortly after take the A591, by-passing Kendal. Follow this route through Windermere to Ambleside then turn left onto the A593. At Skelwith Bridge turn right onto the B5343 signposted Langdale. Cross the cattle grid after 2 miles, down the hill and straight on until reaching the Estate entrance on the left. Reception is at the Hotel. BY RAIL: Intercity trains run to Oxenholme (Kendal) with regular connections to Windermere.

Bookings must be made in advance in both Brimstone Spa and Stove Restaurant to avoid disappointment. If you leave it until on the day of arrival you may struggle to get a booking at a time convenient to you as both are very popular with our guests.

Guests have full use of the Langdale Leisure facilities on the Estate including the heated indoor swimming pool and gym. Towels are available to hire for use in the pool etc. or feel free to bring your own from home. The exercise studio classes, tennis court Brimstone Spa access and therapies are also available– although their use will incur extra charges. Stove Restaurant & Wainwrights Inn are your dining options.
